NEET MDS Counselling 2024: Stray Vacancy Round Registration Begins
MDS Counselling 2024 : The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the schedule for the counselling of the special stray vacancy round for All India Quota (AIQ) seats nationwide. Candidates interested in the NEET MDS counselling registration for 2024 can register until October 16 through the MCC’s official website, mcc.nic.in.
According to the website, the choice-filling and locking process will take place from October 16 to October 17. This counselling round aims to fill the remaining vacancies in Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) programmes at dental institutes across India.
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) has reduced the qualifying cutoff percentile for NEET MDS 2024. It has been officially lowered by 21.692 for all categories, including General, SC, ST, OBC and UR-PWD. Following these eligibility criteria, MCC issued an updated schedule for the special stray vacancy phase.

NEET MDS STRAY VACANCY ROUND 2024: HOW TO REGISTER?
Step 1. Visit the official MCC website, which is mcc.nic.in.
Step 2. Search for the ‘NEET MDS Special Stray Vacancy Round 2024 registration link available on the homepage.
Step 3. On the new page, key in your registration number, NEET MDS 2024 roll number, and any other necessary information.
Step 4. Then, fill out the registration form by entering your personal and academic information.
Step 5. Now, pay the prescribed amount for the registration cost through UPI, net banking, and credit/debit cards.
Step 6. Once done, submit the form and save a copy of the confirmation data for your records.
MCC NEET MDS Special Stray Vacancy Round is conducted for applicants seeking admission in the MDS course for the academic year 2024. This round of counselling is held to fill any open seats after the completion of the normal rounds.
