KEA PGCET Counselling 2024: Rules For Seat Allotment

Candidates who were not assigned a seat in the previous rounds would be allowed to compete for any seats that were left empty after the second round, seats that were given up, or any newly added seats, if any. This round will not be open to candidates who have cancelled their seats in previous rounds. If they are interested, eligible candidates must enter new alternatives. Options submitted during the earlier rounds won’t be taken into account for allocation. After the Karnataka PGCET 2024 final seat allocation results are released, candidates can enroll in MBA, MCA, ME, and MTech programmes.

KEA carried out a physical document verification round at the centres during previous PGCET centralised counselling sessions. Following document verification, KEA made the PGCET option entry process available. However, KEA began the option entry procedure online this year and skipped the document verification step.KEA releases the results of the simulated allocation based on the options. After that, all applicants can change their choices to be considered for the Karnataka PGCET seat allocation in the first round.
