JoSAA 2024: Category-wise top 20 percentile cut-off marks out

JoSAA 2024: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will commence the JoSAA 2024 registration process and choice-filling today, June 10. The JoSAA has announced the category-wise, top 20 percentile cut-off marks out of the total 500 marks for 2023 and 2024.

JoSAA advising works with admission to the Indian Organizations of Innovation (IITs), Public Establishments of Innovation (NITs), and other designing universities. Around 15 lakh JEE-2024(Main) applicants are qualified to partake for around 42,000 seats for the NIT+ Framework. This year, there will be a sum of five rounds of seat distribution led by JoSAA.

The JoSAA top 20 percentile measure is used to survey the qualification of possibility for admission to the IITs and NIT+ framework. To be considered eligible for admission, candidates must either pass the JEE Advanced examination or score in the top 20 percent of their respective boards.

Up-and-comers are expected to have finished their Class 12 (or same) board assessment with at least five subjects, getting a total score of somewhere around 75%. The minimum required aggregate marks for candidates in the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Person with Disabilities (PwD) categories are 65%.
