JMI to hold summer camp for junior, senior school students
An intensive summer camp for junior and senior high school students is planned by Jamia Milia Islamia (JMI). The JMI day camp tries to zero in on giving understudies valuable chances to participate in learning exercises and foster correspondence and athletic abilities.
During a meeting with vice chancellor of JMI Najma Akhtar and principals of JMI senior and middle schools, among other attendees, the decision to organize a summer camp for students of JMI and other schools was made. An employee from the social work division was likewise present at the gathering. The camp organizers will collaborate with a variety of subject teachers and educational professionals to create a summer camp curriculum and modules based on the meeting on May 31.
The camp’s modules will be created based on the participants’ various intelligence levels and individual differences. The camp aims to help participants develop a holistic personality by encouraging them to “learn, unlearn, and relearn.” Personality development, critical thinking, sports skills, communication, life skills, theater, art, and music abilities, and problem-solving abilities will all be emphasized in the camp curriculum.
Students will participate in group activities and first-hand experiments for this. Understudies will likewise be gone on field outings to colleges, galleries and neighborhood milestones. Using interactive teaching methods, JMI will provide experts and professionals to guide participants and encourage innovation and 21st-century skills in students. It is expected of them to keep an eye on the students as they participate in various activities and provide them with any additional assistance they may require.
