JEE Mains 2023 Result Declared

JEE Mains 2023: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has recently released the results for the second session and final round of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023. The results can be accessed on the official websites, jeemain.nta.nic.in and ntaresults.nic.in, using the candidate’s application number and date of birth.

For this year’s Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main, candidates belonging to the general category must score at least 90.77 percentile in order to qualify for JEE Advanced. The JEE Main cut-off is the minimum mark required for a student to be eligible for the next level of the examination.

In order to minimize the likelihood of a tie between candidates, the National Testing Agency (NTA) calculates the JEE Main cut-off percentile up to seven decimal places. Additionally, NTA uses a process of normalization to convert a candidate’s raw score into a percentile score. This is done to account for any variation in the difficulty levels of the different exam sessions and ensure a fair comparison between candidates.

The normalization process is implemented in JEE Main to ensure that no candidate is unfairly disadvantaged due to the variation in the difficulty level of the question paper across different exam shifts. By accounting for these differences in difficulty, candidates’ scores are converted into percentiles, allowing for a fair and accurate comparison of their performance. This helps to ensure that all candidates have an equal opportunity to succeed in the examination, regardless of the specific exam shift they were assigned to.
