IIT Roorkee Releases New Two-Paper Combinations For GATE 2025 Exam
IIT Roorkee : The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee), set to conduct the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025, has introduced a new list of two-paper combinations for candidates. These combinations will be available for selection on the official website from November 14 to 20 for all registered candidates. This update comes alongside the initial two-paper combinations offered during both the conventional and extended application periods. Candidates can view the full list on the official GATE 2025 website at – gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
As per the official website, candidates who initially selected only one paper for GATE 2025 now have the opportunity to add an extra paper from the newly released two-paper combinations. For this option, candidates must first choose their primary test paper and then select a second paper from the available combinations. Importantly, there is no additional cost for this change. Candidates who had already chosen two papers can modify their second paper selection without incurring any extra charges. This update is available for all registered candidates until November 20.

– Log in to the official GATE 2025 website:gate2025.iitr.ac.in
-On the homepage, click on the “Notifications” column.
-Click on the link titled “GATE 2025 New Two-paper Combinations Are Live Now!”
-The complete list of new two-paper combinations will open on your screen.

Meanwhile, IIT Roorkee has extended the application correction facility for GATE 2025 to November 20. Candidates in the SC, ST, and PwD categories must pay Rs 900 for any corrections, while those in other categories, including international students, must pay Rs 1,800.
IIT Roorkee will conduct the GATE 2025 exams on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, with results expected to be announced in March 2025. Each exam paper will be worth 100 marks, with 15 marks allocated to the General Aptitude section and the remaining 85 marks dedicated to the core papers.
