IIT Delhi, education ministry to jointly organise mental wellness workshops today
A workshop will be held by the Indian Institute of Technology IIT Delhi and the Ministry of Education to help people manage stress and mental health and to learn how to deal with stress in both personal and professional settings. The primary focus of the mental wellness workshop is on addressing the pressing issue of students’ mental health.
The education ministry and IIT Delhi are hosting a workshop that will begin today at 14:00 in the Senate Room of the main IIT Delhi administrative building. The event has been planned to feature notable speakers and well-known mental health professionals who will offer insightful perspectives. The workshop will concentrate on the significance of making investments in individuals’ mental and emotional well-being. It is made up of the four main verticals listed below:
- Communication is crucial between parents, students, and teachers; use of AI/ML.
- counseling, accessibility, psychiatry, and event planning.
- Administration Changes – Limit Building, Complaint Redressal, Assessment, Proprietorship
Curricular Changes and Execution – Methods of yoga and contemplation, stress the board, experiential meeting, and so forth.
The mental wellness workshop will also include participants from the National Institute of Technology (NIIT), Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Birla Institute of Science and Technology (BITS), All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS), Xavier School of Management (XLRI), and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).
