IIM Sambalpur : The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sambalpur inaugurated its second Master of Business Administration (MBA) cohort for working professionals at the Institute for Studies in Industrial Development (ISID), Delhi. The MBA programme is designed to provide specialisation in data science and product management as well as innovation and startups, apart from the functional domain.

According to the official press release, the cohort consists of 75 percent male graduates and 25 percent female graduates, with an average age of 31 and 5.5 years of work experience. The experts come from different areas like Data Innovation and Administrations, Assembling, Broadcast communications, Money and Counseling, and other assorted enterprises.

The program additionally incorporates bosses among the understudies, highlighting worldwide and public pioneers like EY Worldwide Conveyance Administrations, IBM India, Adobe, and Bharti Airtel.

Mahadeo Jaiswal, director of IIM Sambalpur, emphasized the program’s emphasis on experiential learning and solving real-world industrial problems. Nagesh Kumar, director of ISID, was the event’s chief guest. “We believe in the value of business education that equips students with the knowledge to conceptualize, formulate ideas, face resistance, and adapt theories and models to real-world situations,” said Raj Agnihotri, assistant dean at Iowa State University.

“We want MBAs to change thoughts into reasonable plans of action, explore difficulties, and coordinate logical and imaginative ways to deal with critical thinking.,” He went on to say.
