IIM-Rohtak PGP Placements: 16.7% increase in average salary
The placements for the two-year postgraduate program at the IIM-Rohtak (IIM-R) were completed with an increase in average salary of 16%. The batch’s average salary was Rs 18.73 lakh, an increase of 16.7% from the previous year’s average of Rs 16.06 lakh.
The official announcement said that the top 10% of the batch got an average salary of Rs 34.68 lakh, and the top 25% and 50% got salaries of Rs 27.15 lakh and Rs 22.64 lakh, respectively. In addition, IIM Rohtak saw a 65% increase in the number of PPOs and PPIs offered to students over the previous year.
The institute claims to have established new partnerships with more than 45 new recruiters this year, including Samsung, Wells Fargo, GAIL, AB InBev, Axis Bank, Barclays, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and Samsung, among others. “The PGP Class of 2023 consists of 237 talented students, 158 female and 79 male, with an average of 19 months of work experience. According to the release, “the batch’s academic diversity is skewed most toward commerce and engineering.”
