ICMAI announces CMA new syllabus conversion fees
Online application fees for the Certified Management Accountant (ICMAI) new syllabus in 2022 have been announced by the Council of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India. According to the official statement, students will be required to pay a fee of Rs 250 to convert to the new syllabus.
According to the official website, icmai.in, the ICMAI CMA exams 2023 under the new syllabus 2022 will begin in the June term, while the exams under the old syllabus will continue until December 2023.
On February 13, the ICMAI exempted students who had passed the Common Admission Test (CAT) from taking the Business Laws and Ethics (BLE) exam under the new syllabus for 2022. The council had clarified that CAT course part I pass out students can also take advantage of the subject exemption for taking the CMA course under the new syllabus. The ICMAI circular from March 24 stated, “To claim the said exemption, the subject exemption fees of Rs 1,000 must be paid.”
“Students seeking conversion from Old Syllabus to Syllabus 2022 (application through Online Portal in the Students’ Section) shall pay a fee of Rs 250 for conversion,” reads the most recent update.
