GRE 2023: ETS introduces new exam pattern; timings reduced by half
GRE 2023: The Educational Testing Service (ETS) has introduced a new exam pattern for Graduate Record Examinations (GRE), a standardized test that is an admission requirement for many graduate, management, law programmes in the United States and Canada and a few other countries.
The test design was changed for “improved results and diminishing test pressure”. The test length of GRE 2023 has been diminished from almost 4 hours to 1 hour and 58 minutes.
According to the new test design, the test is separated into three areas – scientific composition, verbal thinking and quantitative thinking.
The ”examine a contention” in the logical composing area and the unscored segment has been taken out from the inquiry paper. The all out number of inquiries in the quantitative and verbal thinking segments has likewise been diminished.
