GCET Cancelled Goa engineering, pharmacy admission through JEE Main, NEET 2024

NEET 2024: Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Goa has decided to cancel the Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) for admission to engineering and pharmacy courses. From the academic year 2024-25, the DTE will grant admission to BTech and BPharm, professional courses through Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main 2024) or National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET UG 2024).

Prior, the DTE used to direct the GCET test and unified guiding cycle for admission to designing and drug store courses presented by the universities in Goa. Nonetheless, this year, “Admissions to Designing B.E. Degree courses in the Province of Goa in the year 2024-25 will be completed based on Score/Rank at Joint Placement test (JEE-Primary)- 2024 to be led by Public Testing Organization (NTA) in January 2024 and April 2024,” the authority warning read.

Admissions to drug store or BPharm courses in Goa will be founded on the best total score in material science and science subjects got in JEE Primary 2024 or NEET 2024.

Wannabes who wish to take admissions to BPharm course will have a choice to pick JEE Principal 2024, NEET 2024, or both.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has begun the JEE Primary enlistment 2024. The last to present the application structure on the authority site, jeemain.nta.ac.in is November 30. JEE Fundamental 2024 January meeting 1 will be held from January 24 to February 1 and meeting 2 from April 1 to 15.

The NTA reported the NEET 2024 test date alongside the JEE Fundamental test 2024. According to the test schedule, the single-biggest clinical placement test will be hung on May 5, 2024.
