GATE 2025 Registration Ends Tomorrow

GATE 2025 : The application process for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 is set to conclude tomorrow, October 3. Earlier the last date to apply for the GATE exam was September 26 but it was later extended by IIT Roorkee to October 3. Candidates who have still not been able to register can apply by visiting the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in by tomorrow.

There will be a total of 30 papers in the GATE 2025 exam. The registration fee for this is Rs 900 for SC, ST, PwD, and female candidates and Rs 1800 for unreserved category candidates. However, if the candidates of female, SC, ST, and Divyang categories apply with a late fee, they will have to pay Rs 1400 and others will have to pay Rs 2300.

Graduation final year students or those pursuing a degree in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Arts/Humanities can apply for the GATE exam. There is no age limit for this.

How To Apply For GATE 2025?

Step 1: Head to the official website of GATE 2025 at gate2025.iitr.ac.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, look for the Apply Online link and click on it.

Step 3: Next up, register yourself on the portal by providing the required details.

Step 4: After logging in, fill in the GATE 2025 Application form and submit all the necessary documents.

Step 5: Pay the application fee and click on proceed.

Step 6: Save and take a hard copy of the application for future reference.

The GATE exam will be conducted in two shifts on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. Candidates can appear in two papers of the GATE exam. The exam is conducted for admission to postgraduate courses in engineering. Many PSUs including ONGC also make recruitments based on GATE score. IIT Roorkee will release the GATE 2025 Admit cards on January 2, 2025, and the results for the same are expected to be out on March 19, 2025.
