GAT-B 2023 application correction window opens
Today, April 8, 2023, the Graduate Aptitude Test-Biotechnology GAT-B 2023 and Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET 2023) online application windows have been opened by the National Testing Agency (NTA). On April 9, 2023, the correction window will remain open until 11:50 p.m.
The test will be directed in PC based test (CBT) mode and the mechanism of inquiry paper will be English. The GAT-B and GAT-BET exams will be given in separate shifts for a total of three hours. Candidates for the GAT-B exam will take part in the first shift, which will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.; those who have registered for the GAT-BET exam will need to attend the second shift, which will run from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
GAT-B exam eligibility in 2023:
Candidates for MTech programs must have a BTech or BE degree with an aggregate of at least 55% (SC, ST, and PwD) or 60% (general, EWS, and OBC).
In order to be admitted to MSc programs, applicants must have graduated from a reputable university with a minimum of 60% (general, EWS, and OBC) or 55% (SC, ST, and PwD) aggregate in their chosen field.
Candidates must hold a B.V.Sc. in order to meet the M.VSc Animal Biotechnology program’s GAT-B 2023 eligibility requirements. and an A.H. degree or equivalent with at least 60% marks. 50% of the candidates must be from the reserved categories (SC/ST).
GAT-B and GAT-BET are administered to applicants for admission to participating institutions’ department of biotechnology-supported postgraduate (PG) programs in biotechnology and related fields (GAT-B) and DBT – Junior Research Fellowship (DBT-JRF) programs for conducting research in emerging biotechnology fields (BET).
