Eastern Railways Recruitment : The Eastern Railway has started hiring candidates for Group C and D positions. This hiring campaign, which will be conducted under the sports quota, will fill 60 positions within the company. Qualified and interested candidates can apply via rrcrecruit.co.in and the official RRC/ER website, rrcer.org. The application deadline for the positions is December 14, 2024, while the registration period opened on November 15, 2024.

Eastern Railway Recruitment 2024: Application Fee

All applicants must pay an application fee of Rs 500. The cost is Rs 250 for applicants who are members of the SC, ST, Women, Minorities, and Economically Backward Classes.

Eastern Railway Recruitment 2024: Documents Needed

When completing the online application form, candidates are required to upload a scanned copy of their Age Proof Certificates (Matriculation or 10th Class Certificate or Admit Card of Madhyamik/Secondary Examination) with their date of birth. The original copy of the Age Proof Certificate must be presented on the day of the trials during Document Verification and as instructed.

Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 25 in order to apply online. There will be no age relaxation for any categories.

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited university to apply for Level 4 and Level 5 positions in Eastern Railway’s recruitment. Similarly, an applicant must have passed the class 12 exam in order to apply for Level 2 or Level 3 positions. The candidate will be given precedence if he has finished the apprenticeship course. Candidates for Level 1 positions should have completed both the ITI and the 10th grade.

Eastern Railway Recruitment 2024: Selection Process

Winning medals in other sports would also be a major factor in Eastern Railway hiring decisions; 50 points will be awarded during the selection process based on performance in recognised sports. In addition, 40 points will be awarded for athletic prowess and physical fitness. For educational qualifying, ten points are set.

Eastern Railway Recruitment 2024: Pay Scale

Group D Level 1 will get Rs. 1800. Whereas, Group C Level 2 and Level 3 will have grade pay of Rs 1900 to Rs 2000. The grade pay scale for Group C Level 4/Level 5 positions will be Rs 2800 to Rs 2400 after they are chosen for these positions.
