DU vacant seats for special spot round starts tomorrow
A special spot round for DU admission in 2022 has been announced. The college will deliver DU vacant seats for the special spot affirmation tomorrow, December 18, on the CSAS entrance, admission.uod.ac.in.
For the colleges that have been shortlisted, the university will display DU open seats. The special admission round will be open to students who have registered for the DU CSAS admission portal, have a valid score from the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2022), and have not been assigned a college.
Understudies who have been dispensed seats won’t be permitted to pull out after the declaration of exceptional spot affirmation. After several rounds of allocation, approximately 63,900 of the 70,000 UG seats have been filled by DU.
There are still about 6,000 vacant seats. Admission to the DU special spot round in 2022 will be determined by the number of seats available, program-specific merit, program and college preference order, and category.
Candidates should be aware that in order to participate, they will need to select “Special spot round admission” from the dashboard on the DU admission portal. Students will be able to submit applications for all programs at the colleges that have been narrowed down once the list of open seats on du.ac.in is made public.
In the notice, the DU registrar stated that students admitted through the special spot round must accept admission. Candidates who do not accept a seat during this round will not be eligible for Delhi University UG admission in 2022.
