CSAB Result: Supernumerary Round 2024 Allotment Result Released; Confirm Seat By August 22
CSAB Result : The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) has issued the seat allotment results for the CSAB 2024 supernumerary round today, August 22. Candidates who took part in the counselling process may view the CSAB 2024 seat allocation result for the supernumerary round on the official website, csab.nic.in. As per the official announcement, the board allots seats on the basis of merit, taking into account the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2024 common rank list rank for the vacant seats. The deadline to confirm the assigned seat and make payment is August 22.
The procedure for uploading the required documents will soon begin at the board. They will also take care of paying the Supernumerary Seat Acceptance Fee (SSAF) and completing the online verification for candidates with disabilities (PwD) as part of this process. This guarantees that all necessary steps are taken to make it easier for qualified PwD candidates to accept seats and verify their eligibility.
Candidates in the General (GEN), General-Economically Weaker Section (GEN-EWS), and Other Backward Class-Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) categories are required to pay a seat acceptance fee of Rs 45,000. For first-time applicants who fall into the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), or Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories, the acceptance fee for a seat is Rs 25,000.
Candidates seeking admission to National Institutes of Technology (NITs) like NIT Calicut, NIT Durgapur, and Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT) Surat are the only ones eligible to participate in the CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board) Supernumerary Round. Candidates’ positions on the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Main) 2024 serve as the basis for this round of admission. Candidates who meet the necessary rank requirements have another chance to gain admission to these prestigious universities in this round.
