CBSE releases Exam Schedule for 10 & 12
On Friday, CBSE issued a notice regarding the practical details and division of subject marks of exam schedule for classes 10 and 12. The notice can be viewed by at official website, cbse.gov.in.
The useful tests for classes 10 and 12 will start from January 1, 2023 and hypothesis tests for both the classes will be held from February 15, 2023.
The CBSE wants to help schools run practical exams smoothly with this notice. The list includes information about practical exams and the division of marks by subject.
The list includes the subject name, subject code, maximum marks for theory exams, maximum marks for practical exams, and maximum marks for project assessments for each class.
It also indicates whether an external examiner will be appointed for practical and project assessments, whether the board will provide a practical answer book, and what kind of answer book will be used for theory exams.
Exam Schedule for 10 & 12:
The board will not appoint any external examiners for class 10, but it will appoint external examiners for class 12.
For class 10, there are 76 subjects, and for class 12, there are 115 subjects. There are five exams that students must take, both compulsory and optional.
