Bihar Police Constable Recruitment 2025: 19,888 Vacancies Announced
Bihar Police : The Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC) has officially announced the recruitment process for the position of ‘Constable’ in the Bihar Police and Bihar Special Armed Police. A total of 19,888 vacant positions are available across various districts of Bihar, including the Bihar Special Armed Police units. The online application process for the recruitment drive will commence on March 18, 2025 at the official website of CSBC- csbc.bihar.gov.in. The last date to apply for Bihar Police Constable Recruitment 2025 is April 18, 2025.

The available vacancies for ‘Constable’ positions are categorized as follows:
Unreserved (UR): 7,935 posts
Economically Weaker Sections (EWS): 1,983 posts
Scheduled Castes (SC): 3,174 posts
Scheduled Tribes (ST): 199 posts
Extremely Backward Classes (EBC): 3,571 posts
Backward Classes (BC): 2,381 posts (including 53 for Transgender candidates)
Women from Backward Classes (BCW): 595 posts
Bihar Police Constable Recruitment 2025: Application Fee
For candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), female candidates who are native to Bihar, and transgender candidates, the application fee is set at Rs. 180. However, for all other candidates, the application fee is Rs. 675.
It is important to note that, in addition to the application fee, candidates will also be required to pay bank charges as per the guidelines set by the respective banks. These charges will be automatically deducted during the online payment process.
Bihar Police Constable Recruitment 2025: Selection Process
The recruitment process will consist of three main phases:
Phase 1: Written Examination
Eligibility: Candidates whose applications are accepted will be invited to appear for a written exam based on the Bihar Board’s 10th-grade (Matric) curriculum.
Subjects: The exam will cover a range of subjects including Hindi, English, Mathematics, Social Science (History, Geography, Civics, Economics), Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Botany), and General Knowledge & Current Affairs.
Exam Details: The written exam will comprise 100 objective-type questions, each worth one mark, and will be conducted for a duration of 2 hours.
