AISSEE 2025: The Sainik School class 6th and 9th entrance exam application process is set to conclude tomorrow, January 13. Interested students or their parents can fill out the AISSEE 2025 form by visiting the official website at aissee.nta.nic.in. The application fee for general category candidates will be Rs 800, while the ST and SC category candidates will have to pay Rs 650.

To get admission in class 9th of Sainik Schools, the candidate must have passed the 8th class. Admissions in class 6 of new Sainik schools will also be done through this exam. Girls will be admitted only based on seats available in class 9.

AISSEE 2025: Age Limit

Class 6: Age must be between 10 to 12 years on March 31, 2025.

Class 9: Age must be between 13 to 15 years on March 31, 2025.

Sainik School 2025 Admission: How To Apply?

Step 1: Go to the official website of AISSEE at exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE.

Step 2: Look for the ‘AISSEE 2025 Application Form’ there and proceed with the application form.

Step 3: Enter the required details, including your name, date of birth, home address, contact details, and a valid email address.

Step 4: Select the class you want to take admission for, class 6 or class 9.

Step 5: Scan and upload the essential documents (including photograph and signature) to complete the application form.

Step 6: Now, pay the applicable fee through the provided online payment options and confirm your application.

Step 7: Check the form thoroughly before applying as there will be no chance for any kind of improvement later.

AISSEE 2025: Sainik School Entrance Exam Pattern

For admission to Sainik schools, there will be a written exam in 190 cities across the country, which will have multiple-choice questions. There will be a 150-minute paper for admission to class 6, which will be of 300 marks. This paper will have questions based on language, mathematics, intelligence, and general knowledge. Similarly, there will be a 180-minute exam for admission in class 9. In this exam, questions related to subjects like mathematics, intelligence, English, general knowledge, and social science will be asked. The total marks for the exam will be 400. Students must score at least 25 per cent in each section and 40 per cent aggregate to clear the exam.
