AICTE launches ‘VAANI’ scheme to promote Indian languages
‘VAANI’ scheme: The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has launched a new scheme ‘Vibrant Advocacy for Advancement and Nurturing of Indian Languages’ (VAANI) to promote Indian languages among faculty members and students.
The ‘VAANI’ plan will give monetary help to AICTE endorsed Organizations for leading gatherings, courses and studios. This help will be accommodated 2-3 days in arising fields of specialized training in 12 provincial dialects.
Sending off the plan, AICTE Director TG Sitharam said, “AICTE – VAANI plan will assist in making information with basing in neighborhood language and will support formation of a fortune of most recent specialized information consolidating the freshest improvements in territorial dialects”.
Under the plan, around 100 gatherings will be upheld every year with Rs 2 lakh for each meeting. These meetings will incorporate eight gatherings for every territorial language (Gujarati, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Punjabi, Bengali, Kannada, Assamese, Malayalam, Odia and Urdu), 12 meetings in Hindi language. The chamber will repay Rs 2 crore every year under the AICTE-VAANI conspire.
The 12 arising fields are ‘Progressed Materials, Interesting earth and basic minerals, Semiconductor, Space and Guard, Blue Economy, Energy, Manageability and Environmental Change, High level Figuring (Supercomputing, man-made intelligence, Quantum Registering), Cutting edge Interchanges, Savvy Urban communities and Portability, Aggrotech and Food handling, Medical care and Prescription Tech, Calamity The board and Versatile Framework and Assembling and Industry 4.0.
