Railway Vacancies: Konkan Railway Recruitment 2024 Registration Begins
Railway Vacancies : A large number of young aspirants from across the nation want to work in Indian Railways. If you are also one of them, then this opportunity is definitely for you. Konkan Railway, one of the 19 railway zones of India, has released recruitment notification for various posts and the application process is starting from Monday. Candidates applying for these posts must check the complete details and application process on the official website of Konkan Railway.
Konkan Railway has announced recruitment for a total of 190 posts. These include various posts from senior level to junior level. You can apply for posts like Senior Section Engineer, Technician, Assistant Loco Pilot, Station Master, Goods Train Manager, Commercial Supervisor and Track Maintainer and Point Man. Only natives of Goa, Maharashtra and Karnataka are eligible to apply.

The application for these recruitments is starting from September 16, 2024, and you can apply till October 6, 2024. For more information find the notification
Different qualifications have been prescribed for different posts. To apply for the post of Senior Section Engineer Electrical, the candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering. Matriculation pass candidates can apply for technician posts, but they must have an ITI diploma in the relevant field. Candidates between 18 and 36 years are eligible and the age will be calculated from August 1, 2024. Reserved category candidates will get relaxation as per rules.
When it comes to salary, Senior Section Engineer will get Rs 44,900 per month (Pay Level 7), Station Master will get Rs 35,400 per month (Pay Level 6), Commercial Supervisor will get Rs 35,400 per month (Pay Level 6), Goods Train Manager will get Rs 29,200 per month (Pay Level 5), and Technician (Electrical/Mechanical) will get Rs 19,900 per month (Pay Level 2).
