Winter holiday: Blazoned for Kashmir seminaries till February 28

Jammu and Kashmir government on Friday blazoned three- month downtime holiday
for seminaries in the vale in view of onset of downtime.

While the classes up- to primary position( nursery to 5th standard) will close on December 1, the middle classes( 6th to 8th standard) will stop academic conditioning on December 12, officers said.
Secondary and advanced secondary position classes will observe downtime leaves from December 19, the officers said.

The seminaries will renew on February 28 coming time.
The downtime leaves have been blazoned in view of downtime setting in as the mercury has slipped below freezing point at most places in the vale.

The staff of high and advanced secondary seminaries have been asked to report at their separate seminaries on February 20 so that they can make arrangements for continuing of seminaries.
The tutoring staff have been directed to remain available for online guidance of the scholars.
