Western Sydney University appointed Shrikrishna Rajagopala as New chief of Joint Academic Chair of Ayurveda

Western Sydney University :The All India Institute of Ayurveda( AIIA), Ministry of Ayush, Government of India and Western Sydney University moment concertedly declared the appointment of a Joint Academic Chair in Ayurveda. AIIA’s associate professor Shrikrishna Rajagopala has been appointed as the academic president in Ayurvedic Medicine.
The president, which is concertedly funded by the Ministry of Ayush and Western Sydney University, will be grounded at Western Sydney University’s NICM Health Research Institute. The focus of this position will be to make capacity for the scientific confirmation of Ayurvedic drug and aligned inventions similar as Ayurveda herbal drug, yoga and contemplation.
This programme will organise cooperative exploration systems, and will help campaigners in developing short and medium- term academic courses, furnishing tutorials to scholars, conducting sensitisation programmes, shops and forums and serving as a believable source of Ayush affiliated information for Australia.
Rajagopala is presently the Head of the Department of Khaumarabhritya( paediatric department) at AIIA. He has an experience of 28 times and his and determination is in clinical and pharmacological exploration of Ayurveda interventions for asthma, cerebral paralysis, Covid- 19, anemia and muscular dystrophy.
The Ministry of Ayush has established a programme for Ayush Academic Chairs in foreign institutions to give further openings and coffers for exploration collaboration and to strengthen artistic ties. The programme has also added instigation to the ongoing enterprise of the Ministry of Ayush in placing India as a global healthcare destination. Western Sydney University is the first Australian university to share in this global programme.
