VITREE 2024 registration closes today

VITREE 2024: Vellore Institute of Technology Research Entrance Examination (VITREE 2024) registration will be closed today, April 28. Interested and eligible candidates can fill the VITREE 2024 registration form by visiting the official website, admissions.vit.ac.in.

VITREE is led for admission to different PhD, Direct PhD programs in VIT gathering of Establishments. On May 5, the VITREE 2024 exam will be held in approximately 59 cities from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. VIT will direct an individual meeting round for understudies who finish the placement test on May 18 and 19. The official schedule indicates that the institute will release the VITREE results for 2024 on May 29.

VITREE 2024 eligibility criteria

PhD: Applicants should hold a Master’s degree in engineering or technology in the relevant field with a minimum of 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale. Alternatively, qualifications like MSc (Engineering), MS, or MTech are accepted.

Direct PhD: Candidates need to have a strong academic background in their Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject area. A minimum of 75% marks or a CGPA of 7.5 on a 10-point scale is required.

PhD in architecture and planning: Aspiring candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Planning and a master’s degree in architecture, design, planning, building engineering and management, or equivalent, from a full-time or regular education program. They should have secured at least 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale throughout their academic tenure, where applicable.

The VITREE 2024 test will be held web-based in PC based mode. The mode of the VITREE 2024 test is English. The paper takes two hours to complete. There will be 100 multiple-choice questions all together. There will be a total of three sections for the VITREE 2024 PhD paper: technical, English communication skills, and statistics and probability. However, there will only be two sections for the VITREE 2024 direct PhD: technical communication skills and English communication skills.
