UPSC CSE Result 2024 OUT: Check UPSC Civil Services Exam Toppers List

UPSC CSE : The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the final results of the Civil Services Exam (CSE) 2024. Candidates who had appeared for the exam can check the results on the commission’s official website at upsc.gov.in. The result contains the PDF file of the candidates who have qualified for the UPSC CSE 2024 along with their roll numbers. The final merit list has been made after combining the candidate’s preliminary, mains, and personality test scores.

A total of 1009 candidates have been selected this year. Shakti Dubey has topped the UPSC CSE 2024. He is followed by Harshita Goyal at rank 2, Dongre Archit Parag secured rank 3. Shah Margi Chirag and Aakash Garg secured the fourth and fifth spots, respectively.

Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.

Step 2: Look out for the tab named ‘UPSC Results’ and click on it.

Step 3: The result will appear in the form of a PDF document.

Step 4: Look for your roll number.

Step 5: Download the PDF file and take a print out for future reference.

UPSC Civil Services Exam 2024 Final Results: What Happened Last Year?

A total of 1016 were recommended for appointment last year. Of these, 347 were from the general category. While 115 were from EWS, 303 were from OBC, 165 were from SC, and 86 were from ST categories. The UPSC had notified a total of 1143 vacancies last year.

Furthermore, 180 candidates were selected for IAS; 200 for IPS; and 37 for IFS. While 613 candidates were selected for various Grade A posts of the Central Government and 113 were selected for the Grade B posts.

Aditya Srivastava topped UPSC CSE 2023 followed by Animesh Pradhan and Donuru Ananya Reddy. A Lucknow native, Aditya Srivastava started his CSE preparation in October 2017. He was chosen for the IPS in the 2022 UPSC CSE exam. That year, he ranked 216th. At present, Srivastava is undergoing training to become an IPS officer belonging to the Bengal cadre.
