UPSC CSE prelims 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has postponed the Civil Services preliminary examination 2024 due to the schedule of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The UPSC CSE prelims exam 2024 will now be held on June 16, 2024. Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be held on May 26.
“Because of the timetable of the looming general political race, the commission has chosen to defer the Common Administrations (Starter) Assessment 2024 which likewise fills in as an evaluating test for the Indian Woods Administration Assessment, 2024 from May 26 to June 16,” the commission said in true notice.
The UPSC enlistment drive intends to fill a sum of 1,056 opening, with 40 seats saved for the People with Benchmark Incapacity (PwBD) class. Inside the PwD classification, 6 opening are held for visually impaired and low vision competitors, 12 for hard of hearing and almost deaf, 9 for locomotor handicaps including cerebral paralysis, disease restored, dwarfism, corrosive assault casualties, and strong dystrophy, and 13 opportunities for different inabilities.
Applicants having a place with the overall classification will get six endeavors to clear the UPSC CSE test while other in reverse classes (OBC) classes, people with benchmark handicap (PwBD) competitors will have nine opportunities to qualify the test. Applicants from booked positions (SC) and planned clans (ST) will be permitted to show up for the test a limitless number of times.
