UPPSC PCS, RO Exam Dates Released

UPPSC : The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the dates for the Combined State/Senior Subordinate Services (Prelims) PCS and Review Officer/Assistant Review Officer exams. According to the official notice issued by the commission, the UPPSC PCS Prelims 2024 exam will be conducted on December 7 and December 8, while the UPPSC RO Exam 2024 will be held on December 22 and December 23.

The Commission, in its official notification, stated that the UPPSC PCS Prelims 2024 exam will be held in two sessions each day due to insufficient examination centres that meet the required standards for the number of candidates.

“According to the provisions, despite every possible effort to meet the required standards concerning the number and capacity of examination centres recommended by the committees for determining centers in all districts of the state, the availability of appropriate centers is not feasible in accordance with the number of candidates. Therefore, the examination scheduled for December 7 and 8, 2024, will be conducted in two sessions (First session – from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM and Second session – from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM) across 41 districts of the state,” the UPPSC stated in the official notification.

The UPPSC RO 2024 exam will also be held in multiple shifts, as only a maximum of 5 lakh candidates can be accommodated in a single shift. If the number of candidates exceeds this, the examination will be conducted in multiple shifts. Since over 10 lakh candidates have applied for the test, the exam will be conducted in two shifts on December 22 and in a single shift on December 23.
