UPPBPB to re-conduct UP Police Constable exam 2024; to be held from August 23

UPPBPB : The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) is going to re-conduct the written examination for the recruitment of UPPBPB UP Police constable posts. As per the official notice, the UP Police written exam will take place on August 23, 24, 25, 30, 31, 2024 in two shifts.

The choice to re-direct the assessment comes after the past test, hung on February 17 and 18, was dropped because of paper spill charges. In order to give every candidate a fair chance, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh had ordered that the exam be retaken within six months.

The enlistment drive means to fill a sum of 60,244 Police Constable positions. Out of this, 24,102 opening are saved for open classification up-and-comers, 6,024 for monetarily more vulnerable segments and 16,264 opportunities are held for other in reverse class (OBC) class competitors. 12,650 and 1,204 vacancies are reserved for candidates from the scheduled castes (SC) and scheduled tribes (ST) categories, respectively.

The Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation will provide free bus service to candidates taking part in the Police Constable recruitment exam, as stated in the official notice. Competitors can benefit of this help whenever the timing is ideal.

Candidates must download two additional copies of their admit card in order to use the bus service. The official notice stated, “One copy is to be presented to the bus conductor for the journey to the exam center, and the other copy is to be presented for the journey back after the examination.”

The selection process for the UPPBPB Constable Recruitment 2024 includes a written examination, physical tests, document verification and medical examination.
