Constable Recruitment : The UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released the admit cards for the Physical Efficiency Test or PET on the official website at uppbpb.gov.in. The exam will be held on February 10. Admit cards for Phase 1 will be released on February 3, 2025, while the Phase 2 hall tickets will be issued on February 10, 2025. The test evaluates a candidate’s physical ability and fitness.
Under this recruitment drive, the UP Police is aiming to fill a total of 60,244 vacancies in the department. Over 48 lakh applications were received, out of which 34,060 candidates appeared in the written examination. Of this, 1,74,316 candidates have cleared the written exam. Those shortlisted by the board will have to appear for the PET.
Step 1: Log in to the official website of the board at uppbpb.gov.in.
Step 2: Search for and open the link available to download the Constable PET admit card on the homepage.
Step 3: Next, open the candidate login tab.
Step 4: Key in your login details, such as your registration number and date of birth.
Step 5: Hit submit it, and the UP Police Constable admit card will be displayed on the screen.
Step 6: Check all the information carefully and download the same for examination day.
A number of activities are conducted in the exam and after qualifying this round, the candidate can move on to the next, which is the Medical Test. The test could include running, long jump, high jump, shot put, 100m race, 1.6 km race, and 800 metres race.
The following exams are conducted in UP police recruitment PET:
— 4.8 km race (in 28 minutes for men and 35 minutes for women)
— Long Jump (3.65m)
— High Jump (1.2 m)
The results of the written examination of Uttar Pradesh Police Constable Recruitment were released on November 21. The cut-off for the written examination was 214. The examinations were held on August 23, 24, 25, 30, and 31.
