UP DElEd Admission 2024: Applications Open For Over 2 Lakh Seats

UP DElEd Admission 2024 : The Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) admission process will begin soon. According to reports, there are over 2.3 lakh seats available. Applications for these seats will start on September 18 and the process will be online. Those who want to do DElEd should apply before this date. Advertisement will be published on September 12 for admission in the academic session 2024-25 of DElEd. Application forms can be submitted from September 18 to October 9. Fees for DElEd can be deposited till October 10. An order has been issued by the Special Secretary of the Government, Yatindra Kumar, for admission in DElEd. For DElEd, the candidate must have at least 50 percent marks in 12th from a recognised board. SC/ST/OBC/Divyang candidates must have 45 percent marks in 12th. The minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years. Apart from UP, candidates from other states can also apply for DElEd. There is no restriction of state boundaries in this.

Diploma in Elementary Education is mandatory for recruitment of assistant teachers in primary and upper primary schools. As per reports, after the year 2018, there has been no recruitment of assistant teachers in UP, due to which about 12 lakh students are looking for jobs after doing DElEd.

Last year, 70,100 seats of DElEd remained vacant. There are a total of 2,33,350 seats in 10,600 district education and training institutes and 2,974 private colleges in the state. Last year, 3,36,187 candidates had applied, out of which only 1,63,250 took admission.

Earlier, the admit cards for the Basic School Teaching Certificate (BSTC) Rajasthan Pre Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) entrance examination 2024 have been released by the Office of the Coordinator, Rajasthan. The candidates who have applied for the tests can download the admit card from the official website. According to the information given, the admit cards were initially supposed to be released on June 24 at 4 pm.

Since the Vardhman Mahaveer Open University’s website server was down, the release had to be delayed. The document was made available after 9 pm, according to the official notification. The candidates can head to predeledraj2024.in, the official website, to download the admit card.
