UP Board Extends Deadline To Finalise 2025 Exam Centres To December 7

UP Board : The Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has made a big change in the schedule for determining examination centres for high school and intermediate examinations for the academic year 2025.

Earlier, the UP Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh released a schedule that stated that the process of determining the examination centres was to be completed from October 20 to November 28, 2024, to maintain the sanctity, quality, reliability, law and order of the board examination. The UP Board has released a new schedule for determining examination centres. Under the new schedule, the examination centres can be determined by December 7, 2024.

The deadline for uploading the Tehsil Committee’s report, formed by the District Magistrate after conducting physical school verification, on the UP Board website via DIOS has been extended from October 20 to November 4. Additionally, the information for schools certified and updated by the Tehsil-level committee can now be uploaded to the board’s website by November 11, allowing for the publication of the selected examination centres list online.

On the other hand, the deadline for receiving the online list of selected centres, notified by DIOS in district newspapers for verification and addressing objections from students, parents, principals and managers on the UP Board portal, has been extended from November 6 to November 14.

The deadline for DIOS to review, address and upload justified objections from students, parents, principals and managers, along with the approval report and recommendations from the District Determination Committee, has been extended from November 11 to November 23. Additionally, the final date for uploading the approved list of examination centres, including student allocations, on the UP Board website has been moved from November 15 to November 27.

Students, parents, principals and managers now have until December 2, 2024, to submit objections related to examination centres on the UP Board’s official website. This extension, originally set for November 20, 2024, allows for additional time to address any errors through online software and obtain approval from the District Centre Determination Committee before final submissions.
