University Of Huddersfield Expands To London, Opens Doors For Indian Students With Scholarships

University Of Huddersfield : The University of Huddersfield’s new London campus offers postgraduate programmes in Management, International Business, Computing, and Marketing. This expansion provides international students, especially from India, with enhanced opportunities for quality education, industry exposure, and merit-based scholarships.

The University of Huddersfield has a strong track record of preparing students for the job market. According to the latest data, 94% of its postgraduate students secure employment or pursue further studies within fifteen months of graduation, with an average salary of £36,100 per year. The London campus is expected to provide students with excellent networking opportunities, industry connections, and access to a dynamic job market.

Speaking to News18.com, Ian Crichton, CEO of Study Group, highlighted the growing interest of Indian students in studying abroad. He noted that while Chinese students historically dominated overseas programmes, Indian students have now become the largest international student community in the UK.

“The UK government recognises the importance of international students, particularly from India. However, policy shifts have been slower than expected, and challenges like restrictions on postgraduate dependents remain unresolved,” said Crichton.

Crichton highlighted London’s advantages, saying, “London combines top-quality education, diverse cultures, and great career opportunities. As a global business hub, it gives students direct access to employers, networking events, and internships.”
