UGC revises fellowship amounts for JRF, SRF, post doctoral, other schemes

UGC : The University Grants Commission (UGC) has increased the fellowship amount of various fellowship schemes. The commission approved the revised fellowship amount in its 572nd meeting held on September 20.

The overhauled partnership allowances will be powerful from January 1, 2023. UGC said that the expanded paces of partnership may be appropriate for existing recipients.

“The College Awards Commission in its 572nd gathering hung on September 20, 2023 considered and supported the changed paces of association sum under the UGC partnership conspires,” the commission said in an authority notice.

How much Junior Exploration Cooperation (JRF) has expanded from Rs 31,000 every month for quite some time to Rs 37,000 every month. Though, SRF cooperation sum has climbed to Rs 42,000 every month which was Rs 35,000 before.
