UGC NET Result December 2024 To Be Released Soon

UGC NET : The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the UGC NET December 2024 results soon. While the exact date and time have not been confirmed, media reports suggest the results may be announced this week. Candidates can check their results on the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

The UGC NET December 2024 exams took place from January 3 to 27, 2025, with the provisional answer key released on February 1, 2025. Candidates had until February 3, 2025 to raise objections regarding the answer key. After reviewing the objections, experts will finalize the answer key, which will be used to calculate the results.

Step 1: Visit the official UGC NET website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in

Step 2: Click on the ‘UGC NET December 2024 Scorecard’ link

Step 3: Enter your application number and login credentials

Step 4: Your result will be displayed on the screen, download it

Step 5: Print your UGC NET scorecard for future reference

This year, a total of 8,49,166 candidates registered for the exam, with 6,49,490 candidates appearing for it, yielding an attendance rate of 76.5%. The exams were conducted online at 558 centres across 266 cities in India.

What is UGC NET?

The UGC NET (University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test) is held twice a year, in June and December, to determine eligibility for academic positions in Indian universities and colleges.

The exam is conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode and consists of two papers:

Paper 1: Common for all candidates, assessing teaching and research aptitude.

Paper 2: Subject-specific, offering 83 subjects for selection.
