UGC NET : The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the UGC NET December 2024 session provisional answer key. The agency released the question paper and recorded responses along with the answer key for the exams held between January 3 to 27, 2025. Candidates can challenge the answer key until February 3 up to 6 pm. To raise objections, candidates need to pay a fee of Rs 200 per question challenged. Those who took these exams may access the answer key by visiting the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
UGC NET December 2024 Answer Key: How To Download?
Step 1: Navigate to the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Go to the webpage and look for the most recent announcements and answer keys.
Step 3: Candidates must click the “UGC NET December 2024 Answer Key” link and click on it.
Step 4: A new page will appear where login information, such as the application number and password must be filled out.
Step 5: The answer key will open on the screen in a PDF format.
Step 6: Print a copy of the answer key for future reference.
To file an objection, candidates must also provide sufficient evidence to back their argument. The topic expert committee will then review these objections, and further appropriate measures will be taken. The final answer keys for the UGC NET 2024 will be released once the preliminary answer keys have been validated. Once the final answer keys are issued, the NTA will not accept any objections or challenges.
“Challenges made by the candidates will be verified by the panel of subject experts. If the challenge of any candidate is found correct, the Answer Key will be revised and applied in the response of all the candidates accordingly. Based on the revised Final Answer Key, the result will be prepared and declared. No individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance/non-acceptance of his/her challenge. The key finalized by the Experts after the challenge will be final,” reads the official notice by NTA.
The UGC-NET 2024 was held for 85 subjects at various centres across the nation in the OMR (Pen and Paper) format. It was held in two shifts. The first shift was from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, and the second shift was from 3 pm to 6 pm. The NTA had postponed the December 15 exam to December 21 and 27 due to Pongal and Makar Sankranti festivals.
