UGC NET 2024 Schedule Revised, August 26th Exam Deferred Due To Janmashtami

UGC NET 2024 : The National Testing Agency (NTA) has revised the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2024 exam that is scheduled to be held on August 26. It will now be held a day later on August 27 on account of Shri Krishna Janmashtami. The remaining exam dates remain unchanged and will be conducted as per schedule between August 21 and September 4.

The official notice from NTA states, “On account of Shri Krishna Janmashtami on 26th August 2024, National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to reschedule the Examination of 26th August 2024.” The updated schedule is available to candidates on the official UGC NET website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

The test authority will deliver the UGC NET 2024 concede card soon. The UGC NET admit card will be released 15 days before the scheduled exam date, according to previous trends. The test city slips have previously been delivered by the organization. From 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and from 3 PM to 6 PM, the exam will be given in two shifts.

UGC NET Exam 2024: How to Download Exam City Slip?
Step 1. Go to ugcnet.nta.ac.in, the official website.

Step 2. Select the notification link “UGC NET exam city intimation slip 2024” that appears on the homepage.

Step 3. Enter your birthdate, application number, and security pin.

Step 4. The exam city slip for UGC NET 2024 will show up on the screen.

Step 5. For future use, download and save the UGC NET 2024 Exam City Slip.

The UGC-NET is a three-hour CBT exam. It consists of 50 questions from paper I and 100 questions from paper II, each worth two marks. The objectives of the questions in Paper I are to assess the candidate’s reasoning ability, reading comprehension, divergent thinking, and general awareness. Paper II, on the other hand, is based on the candidate’s chosen topic. Candidates will be provided with question papers in the language they selected during registration, despite the fact that both English and Hindi will be used as the medium for the exam. The exam does not have any negative marking.
