UGC launches Annual Capacity Building Plan for growth, skill enhancement of employees

UGC : The University Grants Commission (UGC) has launched the Annual Capacity Building Plan (ACBP) for growth and skill development of its employees. As part of the plan, the UGC employees will be trained in four focus areas – behavioral, functional, domain, and technology competencies.

While preparing in conduct skills will assist the UGC with setting up with the capacity to take up greater jobs than typically performed, utilitarian abilities will help them improve in organization, obtainment and monetary administration. Upgrading space skills will assist the workers with performing better in strategy making or venture the executives. Preparing in more current innovation skills will assist them with further developing using time productively, proficiency, better computerized record-keeping and assist with using innovation stages to contact the partners.

“The thought is to assemble, create and improve the capacities, gifts, abilities, effectiveness and capabilities of UGC workers to build their ability to serve the higher schooling system in India,” said commission’s administrator Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar.

Over 4,500 courses were successfully completed by 630 UGC employees from October to December of the previous year, with each employee completing an average of seven courses.
