UCEED Counselling 2025: Admission Portal Opens Tomorrow

UCEED : UCEED Counselling 2025: IIT Bombay will commence registration for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) Counselling 2025 on Friday, March 14, 2025. Candidates who have qualified the UCEED 2025 and are seeking admission to UG design programmes at various IITs will be able to fill out the UCEED Counselling 2025 form through the official website – uceed.iitb.ac.in

Application to BDes Programmes at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Indore, IIT Roorkee and IIITDM Jabalpur (Participating Institutes) will begin at 10:00 AM on March 14, 2025. The application portal will be closed at 5:00 PM on March 31, 2025.

According to the official notification, there will be a common application form for admissions to respective BDes programmes. The UCEED Office, IIT Bombay, will process the common application form and conduct the joint seat allocation process.

The BDes admission application counselling processing fee for applicants of all categories and genders is Rs. This fee is non-refundable and nontransferable.

UCEED Counselling 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: The candidate should have been born on or after October 1, 2000, if belonging to the OPEN/EWS/OBC-NCL category and on or after October 1, 1995, if belonging to the SC, ST or PwD category.

UCEED Qualification: The candidate should have qualified the UCEED 2025 exam i.e., obtained a rank, in UCEED 2025.

Qualifying examination:

The candidate should have passed all five subjects in the qualifying examination (Class XII or equivalent) in 2024 or 2025. Those who appeared for the first time in their qualifying examination in 2023 or earlier are NOT eligible.

Candidates from the Science Stream (at 10+2 level) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects are eligible to apply to all the six participating institutes (IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Indore, IIT Roorkee and IIITDM Jabalpur). Candidates from any other stream (Science without Mathematics or Physics or Chemistry, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities) are eligible to apply to IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, and IIT Hyderabad.
