Transport Department Job: UP’s Basti Transport Department Announces 40 Driver Vacancies

Transport Department Job: The Transport Department in the Basti district of Uttar Pradesh will hire 40 drivers for open positions. Recently the Assistant Regional Manager (ARM) of Basti provided this information. Interested candidates must apply throughout the recruiting process based on the age limit and the required educational background. Written exams, driving tests, and interviews will all be part of the selection process. The driver position at Basti Depot will be filled by the chosen applicants.

The Basti Depot ARM, Ayush Bhatnagar, informed Local 18 that the Transport Corporation is currently hiring drivers for 40 positions. He said, “We have provided vacancies for drivers in different places and have kept camps for it. First, the candidates will have to sit for the exam here, and their second exam will be held in Kanpur.”

The candidate must be at least 23.5 years old and 5 feet 3 inches tall per the recruitment requirements. The candidate must have completed eighth grade to meet the educational requirements. Additionally, a Heavy Driving Licence (DL) is required of the candidate. A minimum of two years of experience in the appropriate sector is required of the candidate.

The conductors would receive a salary of Rs 19,500 -20,000 per month. Another requirement is that they must travel 5,500 kilometres in 22 days on the bus. A camp will be set up to organise the selection procedure. Vikramjot, Mehdawal and Khalilabad are where the camp will take place. Applicants may apply in person at the Basti office or in the camp.

Candidates must note that following the application process, there will be an interview and exam. To avoid any obstacles during the application process, candidates are encouraged to provide all required documentation, such as their identity card, experience certificate, and educational certificate.
