TNPSC Group 2 Prelims Result 2024 Declared

TNPSC : Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has declared the Group 2 exam results 2024. Those who took the exam can check and download their scorecards through the TNPSC website, tnpsc.gov.in using their application number and date of birth. The highest possible mark is 300, while the lowest qualifying mark is 90.

TNPSC held the Group 2 prelims exam 2024 on September 14, 2024, in a single shift from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. It was conducted to fill Group 2 and 2A posts in the organisation. TNPSC Group 2 Exam is divided into three stages. Those who have cleared the preliminary exam will next have to appear for the main round and the interview process. The Mains round is a descriptive written test while the preliminary examination was held for three hours and consisted of 200 questions from General Studies, aptitude, mental abilities, and language (general Tamil or general English).

TNPSC Group 2 Result 2024: Steps To Download

Step 1: Go to TNPSC’s official website, tnpsc.gov.in.

Step 2: Go to the home page and click the TNPSC Group 2 Results 2024 link.

Step 3: Enter your login information and click submit.

Step 4: Your TNPSC Group 2 Results 2024 will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Review the admit card and download the document.

Step 6: Print a physical copy of the result in case you need it later.

According to the commission, 2,327 positions for assistant inspectors, deputy commercial tax officers, special assistants, assistant section officers, audit inspectors, and other positions are available for candidates. Of the total number of positions, 1,820 are designated for group 2A positions and 507 are reserved for group 2 postings.

Last year, the TNPSC Group 2 Mains written exam was conducted on February 25. Candidates who get selected in the mains exam qualify to take part in the Onscreen Certificate Verification and interview process. The dates of the exams for this year will be announced soon.
