Tamil Nadu HSC +2, SSLC Results 2025 Expected By May 9

Tamil Nadu HSC: The Directorate of Government Exams Tamil Nadu (TNDGE) is expected to release the Class 10 and 12 board results 2025 soon. According to media reports, the results could be out on May 9. Last year, the results were declared on May 6 and in 2023, it was released on May 8.

Candidates who took the TNDGE 12th exams can check their results, once out, at the official websites — dge.tn.gov.in, tnresults.nic.in, dge1.tn.nic.in, apply1.tndge.org, dge2.tn.nic.in, and apply1.tndge.org. Apart from the official website, students can also check their TN results via SMS and DigiLocker.

TN Class 10, 12 Result 2025: How To Download?

Step 1: Visit the TN board’s official website, dge.tn.gov.in

Step 2: Find and click on the Class 10/12 result link on the homepage.

Step 3: In the new window, enter the roll number and any additional information requested. Then click the submit button.

Step 4: The Tamil Nadu 10th/12th Result 2025 will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Check and download your TN class 10/12 results.

Step 6: Keep a printout of the results for future reference.

TN Class 10, 12 Result 2025: How To Download via SMS?

To check results via SMS, students must first input their registration number and date of birth in the format shown below:

Step 1: Open the inbox on your mobile phone.

Step 2: On the message template, type ‘TNBOARD10REG NO,DATE OF BIRTH’ (for class 10) or ‘TNBOARD12REG NO,DATE OF BIRTH’ (for class 12)

Step 3: Send to 09282232585 or +919282232585.

Step 4: Within a few seconds, the TN Board Class 10, 12 Result 2025 will appear on your phone.

Students need to get a minimum of 35 marks in theory to pass the board exams. Students are required to secure a minimum of 25 out of 90 marks for languages and subjects which do not have practicals and for vocational subjects consisting of practicals only candidates need to have a minimum of 20 marks out of 75 marks in the practical exam.

If a candidate fails to get the minimum marks they can apply for the supplementary exams. They can also submit for re-evaluation of their answer sheets.
