Tamil Language Literary Aptitude Test 2024 Application Begins, Exam On Ocotber 19

Literary Aptitude Test : The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) Tamil Nadu has commenced the application process for the Tamil Language Literary Aptitude Test. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the Tamil Aptitude Test 2024 on the official website – dge.tn.gov.in till September 19. Tamil Language Literary Aptitude Test 2024 is scheduled to be held on October 19, 2024.

The examination will be conducted based on the syllabus of Class 10 textbooks of the Tamil Nadu government. For the academic year 2024-25, Class 11 students in all the recognized schools in the state, including schools affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) are also eligible to apply for the test.

Students who wish to apply for the Tamil Aptitude Test 2024 will be required to download the application forms from the official website -dge.tn.gov.in.  Candidates will then have to fill out the application form and submit it to their respective headmaster/principal of the school. Students are required to pay an examination fee of Rs 50. Students must note that the last day to submit the application form is September 19, 2024

Through the Tamil Language Literary Aptitude Test 2024, the Tamil Nadu government will select 1,500 students from schools across the country who will be given a stipend of ₹1,500 for two years. Fifty per cent of the awardees will be selected from government schools and the remaining 50 per cent will be from government schools and other private schools, the Directorate of Government Examinations said in a press release.
