‘Surya Namaskar’ to be conducted in all Rajasthan government schools on February 15

Surya Namaskar: Surya Saptami’ on February 15 will be observed in Rajasthan with a mass ‘Surya Namaskar’ programme in all government schools across the state. Following the order of School Education Minister Madan Dilawar, Director of Secondary Education Department Ashish Modi issued an order directing all chief district education officers to conduct ‘Surya Namaskar’ in morning prayers.

He said that the division expects to make a world record on February 15 by directing mass ‘Surya Namaskar’ by understudies, guardians and educators in every one of the schools. ” The act of ‘Surya Namaskar’ has previously started in schools. It is expected of each and every student to perform “Surya Namaskar” with their parents and teachers. Modi stated to PTI, “Those with medical conditions will not participate.”

He stated that the event will initially last for one day on “Surya Saptmi,” but if the government gives the go-ahead, it will be extended to become a regular campaign due to the health benefits of “Surya Namaskar.” Modi said that central region schooling officials have been told in the request, gave on January 23, to direct preparation of ‘Surya Namaskar’ to educators and understudies by qualified teachers.

The chief said that ‘Surya Namaskar’ will be performed at the same time by understudies, guardians, educators, residents in all schools on February 15 and this would turn into a “world record”. He said that instruction officials have additionally been gotten some information about the quantity of members by 2 pm on February 15.
