SSC MTS, Havaldar Recruitment: Vacancies Increased, 11518 Posts To Be Filled Instead Of Earlier 9583
SSC MTS : The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has increased the vacancy number of SSC MTS and Havildar Recruitment 2024. Now there will be recruitment on 11518 posts instead of 9583. This means, 1935 posts have been increased. Earlier there was to be recruitment on 6144 posts of MTS. Now this vacancy has increased to 9079. However, no change has been made in the vacancy of Havaldar positions. As before, there are 3439 vacancies for Havaldar.
MTS recruitment will be done in various ministries and departments of the central government. The recruitment of havildar will be done by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and the Central Bureau of Narcotics. This time a record 57,44,713 applications were received for MTS havildar recruitment.
The exam was held from September 30 to November 14, 2024. The result of SSC MTS Havildar Recruitment Exam was released on January 21. The selected candidates were called for a physical test in February. According to the official notification, a total of 27,011 candidates have been shortlisted to appear in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) / Physical Standard Test (PST) for the post of Havaldar. Now the final result is awaited.

Step 3: Enter your registration number and other required details.
Step 4: The SSC MTS Result 2024 will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Check and download the result. Take a print out for further use.
The SSC MTS 2024 exam consisted of two 45-minute computer-based sessions, with both featuring multiple-choice questions. Incorrect answers in the second session resulted in a one-mark penalty. A state-wise cutoff for each category will be established, and the final merit list will be based on normalized raw scores. Although the normalised marks will determine the final cutoff, it is anticipated to be close to the previous year’s cutoff.
