SSC MTS 2024 vacancies increased; last date to apply extended till August 3

SSC MTS 2024 : The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has increased the vacancies against the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff. Earlier, the number of vacancies in MTS was 4,887. Now, the Commission has increased it to 6,144. The number of vacancies in Havaldar in the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) and Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN) under Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, remains the same – 3,439.

The following are the remaining terms and conditions of the SSC notice that was issued on June 27: It is possible to read “6144” as opposed to “4887” for the tentative MTS vacancies listed in Paragraph 2.1 of the Notice of Examination.

Additionally, the deadline and time for online applications for the Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC and CBN) Examination, 2024, have been extended by SSC. Candidates will now have until August 3 at 11 p.m. to fill out and pay the application. The last day and time to pay fees online is now August 4 at 11 p.m.

In the notice issued in this regard, the Commission stated: The Notice of Examination’s relevant sections, in which the closing date was regarded as crucial for determining eligibility, will now be updated to reflect the new closing date, which is August 3, 2024.

Between August 16 and August 17 at 11 p.m., candidates will also have the option to edit and correct the application form.
