SSC LDC 2017: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has recently declared the final results of the Lower Division Clerk Grade Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, 2017, also known as SSC LDC 2017. Individuals who took part in this recruitment procedure can now visit the official website ssc.nic.in to verify their selection status.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has conducted the Lower Division Clerk Grade Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, 2017 for various group C staff positions. These positions include the Central Secretariat Clerical Service, Armed Forces Headquarters Clerical Service, Indian Foreign Service (IFS) (B), Central Passport Organization under the Ministry of External Affairs, Ministry of Railways (Railway Board), Department of Legal Affairs (DoLA), and O/o Registrar General of India under the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The SSC LDC 2017 Paper 2 results were announced on September 27, 2022. Based on the performance in Papers 1 and 2, the commission has recommended a total of 40 candidates for appointment in the Central Secretariat Clerical Service. Additionally, one candidate has been recommended for the Indian Foreign Services (Ministry of External Affairs), and five candidates for the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board).

Furthermore, five candidates have been shortlisted for appointment at the O/o Registrar General of India under the Ministry of Home Affairs. The commission has also provided the cut-off marks for these posts in the result notification.

It is important to note that the recommended candidates must fulfill all the eligibility conditions mentioned in the Examination Notice. Their identity will be thoroughly verified with regard to their photographs, signatures, handwriting, etc., on the Application Forms and Admission Certificates. The SSC LDC 2017 final results are available on the official SSC website: https://ssc.nic.in.

However, it is worth mentioning that the result for the AFHQ Cadre has not been declared due to the order issued on May 18, 2023, by the Hon’ble CAT, PB New Delhi, in relation to OA No. 2351/2017 & 2600/2017. The details of marks for qualified and non-qualified candidates will be uploaded on the Commission’s website in the near future.
