SSC JE 2024 Exam: Post Preference Submission Portal Opens

SSC JE 2024 Exam : The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has opened the portal for submitting post preferences for the Junior Engineer (JE) Examination 2024 in the fields of Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical engineering. This process is exclusively available to candidates who appeared for Paper II of the examination. Eligible candidates are required to visit the SSC’s official website at – ssc.gov.in  to complete the Option-cum-Preference submission process. The submission window will commence on December 9, 2024, at 5:00 PM and will remain open until December 13, 2024, at 11:59 PM.

Steps to Submit SSC JE 2024 Post Preferences:

Step 1: Candidates must log in to the SSC portal using their credentials.

Step 2: After logging in, navigate to the “My Application” section available under the Candidate Login dashboard.

Step 3: Fill out the Option-cum-Preference form carefully, ensuring that all details are accurate and submit the form.

Step 4: Once the submission is successfully completed, a confirmation email will be sent to the registered email address.

It is crucial to understand that SSC will not accept any physical forms or offline submissions for post preferences. Candidates are urged to double-check their entries before final submission.

SSC JE 2024: Important Notes

Editing Preferences: Candidates can revise their preferences multiple times but only during the specified submission window. However, the last submission will be treated as final.

Mandatory Submission: Failure to submit the post preferences within the prescribed timeline will disqualify the candidate from the final merit list and subsequent stages of the recruitment process.

Specific Advisory for PwBD Candidates: Those who belong to the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) category are strongly advised to select only those posts that are deemed suitable for their specific disabilities, as mentioned in the official examination notice. If a PwBD candidate opts for a position deemed unsuitable for their disability, their candidature may be cancelled by the concerned user organization.
