SSC CHSL Notification 2023: On May 9th, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) issued a notification for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination 2023. The notification calls for applications to fill roughly 1600 vacancies, although the final number of openings will be disclosed at a later date.

To fill Group C positions such as Lower Divisional Clerk/Junior Secretariat Assistant and Data Entry Operators in various Ministries/Departments/Offices of the Government of India, as well as various Constitutional Bodies/Statutory Bodies/Tribunals, the Commission has planned to conduct a competitive examination.

The Tier-I examination, which is a computer-based objective-type test, will be held in August 2023. The dates for the Tier-II examination, which is a descriptive paper, will be announced at a later time.

Candidates who are interested can apply for the examination through the SSC website until 11 pm on June 8th, exclusively via the online mode. Before applying for the available positions, aspirants must review the eligibility criteria and other relevant details thoroughly.

The deadline for payment of fees is until 11 pm on June 10th. General candidates must pay an application fee of ₹100 per application, which can be paid online via BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards, or in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.

Candidates who choose to make their payment through the SBI Challan can do so by visiting the SBI branches within the working hours of the bank until June 12th, as long as the challan has been generated before 11 pm on June 11th.

According to the official notification, women candidates and applicants belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Ex-servicemen (ESM) who are eligible for reservation are exempt from paying the application fee.
