SSC CHSL 2024: List Of Vacancies Announced, 3954 Posts To Be Filled

SSC CHSL 2024 : The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination 2024 list of vacancies. A total of 3,954 vacancies will filled through the recruitment process. The maximum vacancies have been announced for the Ministry of Defence followed by the Ministry of External Affairs

Those who have appeared for the SSC CHSL 2024 tier I and II exams and have cleared both tests are now required to submit their preferences through the official website – ssc.gov.in.

The SSC CHSL Tier 1 examination (computer-based examination or CBE) was conducted on July 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, and 11. A total of 39835 candidates cleared the tier I examination for Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), and 1630 candidates for Data Entry Operator (DEO)/DEO Grade ‘A’ posts.

The SSC CHSL (Staff Selection Commission Combined Higher Secondary Level) examination is a national-level competitive exam conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) of India. It aims to recruit candidates for various posts in government departments and ministries that require a higher secondary (10+2) education qualification.

As per the exam, pattern, the SSC CHSL exam is conducted in three tiers:

Tie 1: Computer-based examination (Objective and MCQs)

Tier 2: Descriptive paper (Pen and paper mode)

Tier 3: Typing test/Skill Test

Candidates need to clear each tier in order to proceed to the next. The final selection will be based on the combined performance in all tiers.

SSC CHSL 2024 Tier II Exam Pattern

The exam will be conducted in two parts — papers 1, and 2. While the first will be held for 2 hours and 30 minutes, the second paper will be conducted for 2 hours. The SSC CHSL tier II exam pattern further includes three sections. The first section consists of mathematical abilities, reasoning, and general intelligence. Section 2 features English language and comprehension and general awareness. The third section comprises computer knowledge and skill tests.
